Chuck Green and Al Forsythe met at Rocket Research Corporation. In 1976 they were two unemployed engineers with a rocket-load of experience in the design and manufacturing of small valves. After a brief search, they found a market for their skills in the trucking industry and formed a new company, GT Development, to provide component parts. Although the partners had turned from rockets to trucks, their biggest paradigm shift came when they recognized that their primary mission was not manufacturing truck parts, but engineering them.

The integrated image update, website and printed materials Gage Design created for GT Development redefined their role and helped them increase their business significantly.
